Adding resistors

State the resistance change and the current change. Two short sentences per layout is enough.

Starting from one resistor on a battery, you add a second identical resistor. What happens to total resistance and to the flow rate of charge if you add it in series? What happens if you add it in parallel instead?

Series raises total R. Parallel lowers total R. Current follows I = V/R at the same voltage.
