Unit IV reflection: planning and submission

Final writing projects

The big idea Use specific moments from your work to explain what you learned about your process and language experiences.

Answer the assigned questions

Reflect on what you learned about your writing process and language experiences. Assess your writing and process, and include anything else you want to share about your work in this unit. The Unit IV assignment body contains the phrase โ€œthis first unit.โ€ Keep that mismatch visible: use Unit IV work as the title directs, and ask the instructor if she intends a different scope.

Choose your own evidence

Reopen your notes, drafts, feedback, and finished project. Find a specific choice or revision that shows learning about process, and a specific moment that connects with your language experiences. Explain what changed, what you learned, and what you would carry into another project. Choose evidence you can substantiate from your own work; this page supplies no personal experiences or reflection text.

Follow the format

The directions require two pages, double spacing, one-inch margins, Times New Roman at 12 points, and your name, date, and course/section at the top left. They do not state a word minimum or a numeric rubric. Use the page requirement instead of substituting a made-up word count.

Review and submit

Check that the reflection answers the questions and supports its assessment with specific examples. The current assignment allows text entry or file upload. If you use text entry, check how the required formatting is preserved; uploading a formatted document is also available. Reopen the submission to confirm the intended version registered.
